If you enjoy warm and comfortable weather, January in Chiang Mai is the perfect time to visit. Days are sunny and pleasant, with temperatures averaging around 25ยฐC (77ยฐF), making it ideal for training in light clothing such as shorts, loose pants, and T-shirts. Evenings are cooler, often dipping to about 15โ€“18ยฐC (59โ€“64ยฐF), so a light sweater or long sleeves will keep you cozy after sunset. With clear skies, low humidity, and refreshing evenings, the climate is just right for both outdoor practice and time to relax by the pool or explore the city.

The standard retreat package includes a shared double room, where youโ€™ll stay with one other participant. This setup keeps the atmosphere community oriented while still offering plenty of comfort and space.

If youโ€™d like more privacy, you can upgrade to your own private room for an additional 200 USD. Couples or close friends can also request to share a room together. All rooms are cozy, well equipped, and designed to support deep rest between training sessions.

Stretch and Strengthen
Each morning begins with a dedicated session to wake up your body. Through mobility drills, strength work, and dynamic stretching, youโ€™ll activate your joints and muscles, increase circulation, and prepare for the training ahead. These practices create a foundation of resilience and fluidity, ensuring your body feels open and ready for the more demanding skills of the day.

Acro Skills and Breakdowns
In these sessions we slow things down and look at the details. Youโ€™ll refine your technique, learn how to spot with confidence, and break down complex transitions step by step. By focusing on precision and smart progressions, youโ€™ll transform skills that once felt out of reach into achievable and reliable movements, building both trust and clarity in your practice.

Standing Acro & Hand to Hand
This is where balance, connection, and shared strength come alive. Youโ€™ll practice standing acro foundations and build toward more creative expressions, including dance lifts, partner balances, and playful transitions. With time devoted to hand to hand progressions, youโ€™ll explore both structure and flow, discovering variations and approaches that help you expand your vocabulary while staying grounded in safety and partnership.

Floorwork & Soft Acrobatics
Movement on the ground connects strength with grace. These classes weave together cartwheels, flips, rolls, and handstands, showing you how to link acrobatic elements into flowing patterns. By combining conditioning with creativity, youโ€™ll develop the coordination and confidence to move seamlessly between strong foundations and expressive, playful movement.

Flow Creation and Integration
This is where everything comes together. Heidi and Slava will share original flows created specifically for this retreat, giving you new material and fresh inspiration. Youโ€™ll explore L-basing sequences, accessible pops, and creative combinations that think outside the box. More than just learning movements, these sessions are about finding your own rhythm, connecting ideas, and building flows that feel alive and uniquely yours.

Yin Yoga with Bolsters and Blankets
Each day closes with deep rest. Supported postures, long holds, and breath awareness invite your body to soften and your nervous system to settle. With bolsters and blankets to fully support you, Yin Yoga becomes the perfect counterbalance to the dayโ€™s training, allowing you to release tension, restore balance, and prepare for another full day of movement.

Our days together are a mix of strength, play, creativity, and deep rest. Youโ€™ll move through focused training sessions, enjoy nourishing meals, and close the day with restorative practices.
